Privacy policy

This policy covers homeequityroadmap.com (“Equity Roadmap”), operated by Unified Home Loans, 2270 Douglas Blvd, Ste 215, Roseville, CA 95661. It does not cover other websites we link to, including our main site and the secure application portal.

What we collect

What you give us. The calculators run in your browser, and the numbers you type into them stay there until you ask for options. When you do, we collect your name, phone number and email address, the figures and choices you entered, your answers to the optional follow-up questions (what the money is for and when you need it), and a record of the consent you gave, including the exact wording, the date and time, and your browser type. If you use the email updates box, we collect your email address.

What we collect automatically. We record which page you were on and the site you came from when you send a request. If you reach the site from a Google ad, Google’s advertising tag may place a cookie in your browser and tell Google that you visited and whether you sent a request. We do not receive your name or contact details from Google.

How we use it

We use your information to call, text and email you about your inquiry, to prepare a home equity estimate or loan scenario for you, and to measure whether our advertising works. We do not use it to build profiles for sale.

Who else sees it

• Our customer-contact platform. Your request is stored in the customer-relationship and messaging system Unified Home Loans uses to send texts and emails and to log calls. It acts on our behalf.
• Google. The advertising tag described above, and nothing you type into the form.
• Our website host. Cloudflare serves the site and sees standard connection information, such as your IP address.
• If you apply. The application is a separate secure portal run for Unified Home Loans, and information you enter there is covered by that portal’s terms and by our loan disclosures.
• Legal and regulatory requests. We may disclose information when the law requires it, for example to a regulator.

We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to other lenders or lead-generation companies.

Calls and texts

If you check the consent box, you agree that Unified Home Loans may call and text you, including with automated technology, at the number you gave, about your inquiry. Consent is not a condition of getting a loan or any other service. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or call (916) 755-6080 and ask us to stop.

Cookies and advertising choices

The only cookies we set come from Google’s advertising tag. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the tag does not load. You can also block or clear cookies in your browser settings, or manage Google advertising settings at adssettings.google.com.

Your California privacy rights

If you live in California you can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you and where it came from, to give you a copy, to correct it, or to delete it. You can also ask us to limit how we use it. We will not treat you differently for asking. Using an advertising tag can count as “sharing” under California law, so you have the right to opt out of it; the Global Privacy Control signal does that automatically, and you can also ask us directly.

Keeping it safe

We use reputable providers and encrypted connections, and we limit who at Unified Home Loans can see your inquiry. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send full Social Security numbers or account numbers through this site. We will collect those only inside the secure application.
